I am a human-environment geographer broadly interested in political ecology, infrastructural geographies, landscape ecology, and critical theory. My dissertation examines how cross-strait geopolitics, island environment, and development influence water infrastructure and governance in Kinmen. Prior to joining Penn State, I worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Ethnology, Academia Sinica, where I assisted a project examining the politics of water supply in metropolitan Taipei. I earned my Master’s in Building and Planning from National Taiwan University and a BS in Urban Planning from National Cheng Kung University.
