About the talk and speaker

Victoria SanchezAssociate Dean for Educational Equity Victoria Sanchez will give a talk about diversity and inclusion initiatives in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences, emphasizing ways that faculty, staff, and students can get involved. 
Some of the topics she will cover include:
  • EMS Reads program book selection, "Whistling Vivaldi," and the upcoming visit by author Claude M. Steele
  • A climate survey to be conducted next fall
  • Signature diversity programs in EMS
